Hot Weather Shipping
Our Hot Weather Shipping Policy
At Loaded Stuff, we take great care in packaging your orders to ensure they arrive in the best condition. However, during warm weather, it's important to be aware of the potential for melting.
Here are the details of our hot weather shipping policy:
Packaging
- During warmer days, we use foil bubble wrap for extra protection.
- Despite these precautions, items are packed in a regular cardboard box, not an insulated one.
- Ice packs typically last for up to 48 hours. On extremely hot days (above 40 degrees), they may melt faster.
- Ice packs are not a guarantee against melting, and Australia Post does not offer a warranty for melted items.
Refund Policy
- We cannot guarantee that chocolates won't melt during shipping, especially on warm days.
- Refunds will not be provided for melted items. Please consider this before placing your order.
Tips to Avoid Melting
- Choose Express Shipping: Opt for express shipping at checkout to minimise transit time.
- Consider Your Location: We are based in Sydney. If you live in rural areas or places with infrequent delivery schedules, please take this into account.
- Be Available for Delivery: By default, Australia Post uses "Authority to Leave." If you don't want this, let us know. Otherwise, ensure someone is available to receive the shipment to avoid it sitting in the sun.
- Check Local Temperatures: Chocolates melt! Check your local forecast before ordering.
- Order Early in the Week: Place your orders at the beginning of the week to prevent them from sitting in a depot over the weekend.
By following these guidelines, you can help ensure that your Loaded Peanut Butter, Marshmallow Fluff and Chocolates arrive in the best possible condition.
Thank you for understanding and for choosing Loaded Stuff.
